I want to express the pain of depression by using visual metaphor and fragmented narrative to express the pain of depression patients in their daily life.

I hope it can help promoting better communication between public and depression patient, and depression patients themselves.

I did the research on the risk factors of depression. Two main risk factors can be divided into mental issue and physical issue. I noticed that there is one obvious reason why depression is so common in modern society. Capitalism and Internet globalization cause the fast pace of modern life, people cannot get what they want because of the huge gap between their income and their needs. With poor mental condition these people would come up with an idea of there is nothing meaningful. I found that the phenomenon is the specific performance of Nihilism.
